I tend to find beauty in simple settings. Settings that aren't propped and overly forced, rather natural and just there. Beauty is staring us in the face 24/7, yet our daily distractions blind us from it.
But then you incorporate a camera. You snap a photo of that moment in which we all take for granted. And that is when you realize; we don’t need the complexities that life seems to think we need. We just need to cherish the moments that are already there.
I was giving the kids a bath this afternoon. Canyon suddenly ran out, which then gave Scout the entire bathtub to herself. She started to lean back and float, as if she was a mermaid resting on a cloud. She looked so beautiful. I immediately ran to grab my camera and captured some really cool photos:
